Loyola Receives a Triple Honor of
Endorsements By Three Admirals
February 22, 2010
Republican Candidate for Congress Ben Loyola receives a triple honor of endorsements by three Admirals in his campaign to represent the Second District in the US House of Representatives.
Rear Admiral Kenneth P. Barausky, USN (Ret), Rear Admiral Gary R. Jones USN (Ret), and Rear Admiral Bruce Cargill USN (Ret) jointly endorse Ben Loyola noting how crucial military experience and leadership is in the Second District.
“I support Ben Loyola’s run for Congress,” announced RADM Bruce Cargill. “We need individuals with strong military experience to best represent the highest concentration of Naval personnel, their families and veterans in the country. Our men and women in the military have served us well and must be upheld.”
Rear Admiral Barausky added, “Ben Loyola is a man of sound principles and I think he is the best choice for such an important district.”
“Ben is a fellow Naval Academy graduate and true patriot. I trust his commitment to fiscal conservatism and willingness to tackle deficit spending and the alarming growth of our national debt. Ben has the courage to address Washington’s overall fiscal irresponsibility, and lack of accountability. These and other crucial actions are central to Ben’s vision of a strong, secure and respected America, at home and abroad” said Rear Admiral Jones.
Loyola cites the support as further evidence that his campaign has the momentum to defeat Glenn Nye. “Our current first-term Congressman is well on his way to leaving as his legacy the loss of at least one carrier group from Hampton Roads. His failed leadership will be a major issue to voters in November.”
Ben Loyola is a candidate for the Republican nomination in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District. He’s a 25-year resident of Virginia Beach, US Naval Academy graduate, 30-year Navy veteran with combat experience, successful award winning businessman, and a true Conservative Reagan Republican.
