Ben Loyola Stands Out in Eastern Shore GOP Debate

January 21, 2010

In his second debate, once again Second Congressional District candidate Ben Loyola was the clear standout among a crowded field of GOP hopefuls. In the debate held this evening at the Little Italy restaurant in Nassawadox, Virginia, Loyola clearly displayed professionalism, knowledge and expertise on the policy issues that matter to the voters.

Loyola explained, “I’m excited to be able to deliver my fiscal and Constitutional conservative message to the Eastern Shore so the voters have an obvious choice of who can better represent them in Congress.”

Deliver is exactly what Loyola did. He stuck to the issues and continued with positive, common sense, and conservative solutions specifically oriented to the questions asked. As a true job creating entrepreneur, Loyola was clear, it takes conservative and fiscally responsible ideas that focus on lowering taxes for all businesses, thereby stimulating job growth.

“Putting a hiring freeze on government and lowering taxes will stimulate the economy as history has proven” Loyola stated. It’s poor economic judgment that falls short of helping the economy to state that just “not raising taxes” is the solution, when in fact it will take lowering taxes to stimulate the economy.

Of Loyola’s responses, his unique perspective on the dangers of socialized health care in Obama’s agenda resonated with the residents. You could hear a pin drop as Loyola reflected back on his brush with socialized medicine and communism that his family experienced in Cuba. He illustrated his climb to success in the United States and how that would not be possible for others if we continue to waiver from our Constitutional principles in favor of a Socialist agenda.

Ben Loyola looks forward to the Town Hall meeting hosted by the Virginia Beach Taxpayers’ Alliance this Saturday the 23rd at the Marian Manor in Virginia Beach beginning at 8:30AM. You are invited to come out and ask Ben and the others candidates your questions.

Ben Loyola is a candidate for the Republican nomination in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District. He’s a 25-year resident of Virginia Beach, 30-year Navy combat veteran, successful businessman, and Conservative Republican.
