Kentucky's Trey Grayson. Big endorsements. Big Establishment support. Big collapse.

May 18, 2010

Voters in Kentucky did what voters across the nation have done and will do in the coming months: Vote for common sense true conservatives over establishment candidates with political connections. Grassroots activism won as the Tea Party fueled Rand Paul’s victory in the Republican Primary for Kentucky’s Senate seat, despite Sen. Mitch McConnell’s endorsement of his opponent, Trey Grayson. It’s the same wave of conservatism that propelled Marco Rubio ahead of Gov. Charlie Crist.

This week, I announced the endorsement of the founder of the Hampton Roads Tea Party, Karen Hurd, to stand alongside our many grassroot supporters. Virginia is about to be the next state where voters choose a new course.

This is another reason why we have the momentum and will win on June 8th. I am not running simply to be your Congressman. I am running to implement real solutions to turn our country away from Obama policies like “cash for clunkers” and his socialized takeover of the health care system. Issues drive our campaign.

I can stand before you with no equivocation and no hypocrisy to oppose Obama’s agenda.

I can also offer real solutions, like my plan to cut taxes across the board, create private sector jobs, and end the corruption of lifetime politicians in Congress. We can reform Congress and bring our government back to its Constitutional purpose.

Now is the time. Please click here, and help us with the final campaign push to get our message of renewing Reagan conservatism to even more voters. $25, $50, $100…it all means victory on June 8th.

Congratulations to Republican Nominee Rand Paul. Be joining you soon.
